DENVER ? The Western Athletic Conference, in conjunction with its Web site partner JumpTV Sports, has announced it will stream all of the matches of both the 2007 WAC Soccer Tournament and 2007 WAC Volleyball Tournament. Viewers can sign up by visiting www.wac.tv.
The soccer tournament will be held in Boise, Idaho, Nov. 8-11, and will feature the top six teams in the WAC. Two first round matches will be played on Thursday, Nov. 8 with the winners moving on to face the top two seeds in the semifinals the next day. The championship will be played at 1:00 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, Nov. 11.
All five matches can be seen on WAC.tv by accessing the soccer tournament package for a one-time price of $9.95.
The volleyball tournament will be held in Las Cruces, N.M., a week later, Nov. 15-17. All nine teams will compete in the event with the No. 8 and 9 seeds opening play at 9:30 a.m. (MT) on Thursday, Nov. 15. The quarterfinals will also be played on Thursday with the semifinals on Friday and the championship match scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17.
Single matches can be viewed on WAC.tv for $9.95 or fans can subscribe to the full volleyball tournament package (all eight matches) for $19.95.
