DENVER ? Fresno State’s Jennifer Shipley was named the WAC women's Golfer of the Week for February 26-March 4.
Shipley, a sophomore from Clovis, Calif. (Clovis HS), tied for third place at the Kitahara Fresno State Invitational, Feb. 26-27, played at the Copper River Country Club in Fresno. Shipley shot a 4-over 148 (76-72) in helping her team win their own tournament. She finished two strokes behind the winner.
