DENVER ? Idaho’s Russell Grove was named the Western Athletic Conference men’s Golfer of the Week for April 4-10.
Grove, a sophomore from Hayden, Idaho (Coeur d'Alene HS), finished second at the OGIO Pacific Intercollegiate with a 13-under, 203. After an opening round 72, Grove fired a 65 in the second round and a 66 in the final round for a top-five finish. Grove carded the lowest individual score in both the second and the third round out of 96 competitors.
