DENVER ? Utah State’s Seth Wold and Nevada’s Amanda Moreno have been named the Western Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, respectively, for the week of Aug. 27 ? Sept. 2.

Wold, a junior from Highland, Utah (Lone Peak), took first place out of 42 athletes in the men’s 8k race at the Utah State Open in Logan, Utah, Aug. 31. Wold was the top finisher for Utah State’s men, leading the Aggies to a second place finish in the race. Wold is the top returner for the Aggies this season, taking fifth at the WAC Championships last year and earning first-team all-WAC honors.
