Q: When and why did you start to play basketball?
When I was six years old. I started because at a young age, I realized basketball could pay for my schooling and my lively-hood.

I was an all-area football player growing up.
Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the court?
Entering college on time.
Q: Why did you choose Louisiana Tech?
I wanted to be the reason why a program could dominate.
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
Playing for my father all through high school.
Q: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student athlete?
Being on schedule to graduate early.
Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student athlete?
Walking across the stage with my degree.

The Temptations.
Q: What do like to do when you are away from the court?
Long walks on the beaches of California, bowling.
Q: Name your favorite class.
Other than anything Dr. Stokley is teaching would be English.
Q: What is your game day routine?
Drink one Powerade, heavy breakfast, and wear two pairs of socks with one pair being my lucky green socks.
Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
I truly expect 20+ wins, a WAC Championship and an NCAA berth.

Martin.
Q: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
My father A. Kevin Gibson.
Q: What do you want to do after college?
If not the NBA, I would like to open a spa. I would also like to help kids anyway I can achieve their dreams.

Kevin Garnett because of his intensity.

Denzel Washington.

Anything my mom would like.

Steak quesadilla, fried alligator, mac’n cheese and a side of yams. With a strawberry shake from In and Out with a limeade.
