Utah State 69, Utah Valley 50
OREM, Utah -- Gary Wilkinson scored a game-high 29 points as Utah State cruised to a 69-50 victory over Utah Valley on Saturday night.
Wilkinson's teammate in the post, Tai Wesley, chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds as the Aggie frontcourt dominated the Wolverines in the win.
Utah State (6-1) ran away in the second half after using a 12-4 run to close out the first period of play with a 34-18 advantage.
Ryan Toolson led the way for Utah Valley (5-4) by scoring 25 points. Josh Olsen added seven points to go along with four assists.
sThe Aggies' Tyler Newbold also scored in double figures with 10 points and five rebounds.
Louisiana Tech 77, Centenary 71
BOSSIER CITY, La. -- Jamel Guyton scored 22 to lead Louisiana Tech to a 77-71 win over Centenary on Saturday night.
Kyle Gibson added 20 points for the Bulldogs (5-4), who won their third straight game. David Jackson chipped in with 15 points and nine rebounds. Kenneth Cooper finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds for Louisiana Tech.
The Gents (2-9) were led by Nick Stallings, who scored 25 points on 8 of 17 shooting. Gary Redus added 18 points.
Louisiana Tech outrebounded Centenary 43-24. They also shot 46.9 percent from the field (23-for-49), including 50 percent from 3-point range (7-for-14).
Centenary has now lost four straight games.
Hawai?i 75, Eastern Washington 55
HONOLULU -- Roderick Flemings scored 22 of his season-high 37 points in the second half to lead Hawaii to a 75-55 win over Eastern Washington Saturday night.
Flemings shot 16 of 23 from the field to lead the Rainbow Warriors (4-3), who shot 51 percent for the game.
Benny Valentine led the Eagles (6-3) with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Hawaii shot 54 percent from the field in the first half to take a 38-26 lead into the intermission.
Eastern Washington opened the second half on a 7-0 run, but Hawaii answered with a 6-0 run of its own to reclaim a 44-36 lead with 13:59 to play.
Milan Stanojevic hit back-to-back 3-pointers for the Eagles to cut it to 50-44 with 9:19 to play, but
Flemings scored the next nine points to put the Rainbow Warriors ahead 59-44 with 6:06 remaining.
Hawaii took its largest lead with 1:39 to play at 73-52 on Ji Xiang?s pair of free throws.
San Francisco 79, Boise State 76
BOISE, Idaho -- Dior Lowhorn scored 20 points and Kwame Vaughn had 18 to lead San Francisco to a 79-76 victory over Boise State on Saturday night.
Lowhorn led the way in the early going, but it was Vaughn and fellow freshman Angelo Caloiaro who made the difference for the Dons (7-4) late in the game, which had 11 lead changes in the final 9 minutes.
With a little more than a minute left, Vaughn put the Dons up 73-71 by hitting a layup down the lane and the ensuing free throw.
After a miss by Boise State (6-3), Caloiaro sank a floater that put the Dons up by four with 29 seconds to go and the Dons held on for the victory.
San Francisco shot 51.9 percent from the field and hit 65 percent of 3-point attempts.
Boise State trailed most of the game, but took its first lead when Anthony Thomas hit a layup to put the Broncos up 55-54 with 9:20 to go.
Mark Sanchez had 15 points to lead Boise State, which shot 56 percent for the game.
