Host and fourth-seeded New Mexico State defeated sixth-seeded Nevada in the second quarterfinal match of the WAC Men's Tennis Championship, 4-1. With the win the Aggies move to 13-6, while Nevada ends its season at 7-14. The Aggies started strong with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to earn the doubles point, and made quick work of the Wolf Pack in singles to seal the win.

The Aggies earned singles victories at the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 positions, while Nevada's Laurent Garcin tallied a point for the Wolf Pack at the No. 1 spot. Roman Stoisavljevic defeated Benjamin David at No. 2, 6-2, 6-4, while Jim Brouleau beat Alex Daruty at No. 3, 6-3, 6-4. Alejandro de Mucha clinched the match for the Aggies when he topped Ausustin Myard, 6-3, 6-1, at the No. 6 position.
