Q: When and why did you start to play basketball?
A: I started playing at age 12. A lot of my aunts and uncles played so I just got involved with it and I love it!

Q: What other sports did you play growing up?
A: I ran the 100m in track and field.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the court?
A: Traveling to Jamaica with my family.

Q: Why did you choose New Mexico State?
A: I love the area and the people. It's a great place to free your mind of everything that's going on.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: When I went on my first airplane trip.

Q: What do you consider you greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A: How far I have grown up as an individual and getting to know myself better.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A:  Becoming a better person and go beyond getting my degree, hopefully my master's.

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the court?
A: Listen to music, relax, go sight-seeing

Q: Name your favorite class.
A: Business Ethics

Q: What is your game day routine?
A: Eat pre-game meal, take a nap, take a shower, get to the gym a few hours early and get treatment, listen to my music, pray and get on the court.

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A: To go above and beyond our goals... we will win the WAC Tourney and go to the NCAA Tournament.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A: Family Matters

Q: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
A: My Family

Q: What do you want to do after college?
A: Go over seas and start my own business

Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
A: "Don't ever let somebody tell you what you can't do, if you have a dream protect it and go get it in everyway possible."

A: Sheryl Swoopes

A: Sanaa Lathen

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?
A: A house for my parents
