Q: When and why did you start to play volleyball?
A: I started playing in 7th grade.  The Junior High volleyball coach asked me to tryout because he knew I played other sports, and I was tall so he thought he could teach me to be a good volleyball player.

Q:  What other sports did you play growing up?
A: Soccer and tennis.

Q: Why did you choose to attend Utah State?
A: I really liked the program up here - great coaches and teammates, high level of volleyball, and a good academic experience.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: I just loved having fun with my family- camping, hiking, boating, skiing, and traveling.

Q:  What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A: Being all-conference for volleyball and academics.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A: I want to win a WAC championship!!

Q: What's on your iPod?
A: I love most music, but country is probably my favorite.  Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood.

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the court?
A: I love to read, play the piano, or be outdoors- camping or hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter.

Q:  If you had to live on a desert island for a year and could only take three items with you, what would you take?
A: My phone, my favorite book, and my ipod

Q: Name your favorite class...
A: Economics

Q: What is your game day routine?
A: Nothing special- I just try to relax as much as possible throughout the day so I will have energy to play!

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A: Win the WAC and make it to the NCAA tournament.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A: The office

Q: Who has had the most influence on your life?
A: My parents

Q: What are your plans following graduation?
A: I would like to go on and get a Masters degree.

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A: Never quit.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A: Roger Federer

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?
A: I would use the money to travel across Europe.

Q: Describe the perfect meal...
A: Everything you would have at Thanksgiving dinner, and lots of ice cream for dessert.
