Nevada 3, Louisiana Tech 0
Nevada swept Louisiana Tech (25-12, 25-14, 25-16) at the Virginia Street Gym tonight. With the win, the Wolf Pack improve to 11-18 on the season and 7-8 in WAC play. The Lady Techsters fall to 15-18 overall and 4-12 in conference action.

Nevada hit a season high .543 in the match and held LA Tech to a .179 attack percentage. The Pack totaled 6.5 blocks and the Lady Techsters four.

Kylie Harrington finished with a match-high 18 kills, while Lindsay Baldwin totaled 14. Sonnie Sei dished out a season- and match-high 43 assists on the night.

Jennifer Goodwin led LA Tech with 10 kills and Nataliya Panova topped the team with five digs.


New Mexico State 3, Fresno State 0
The Aggies out-hit the Bulldogs .330-.133 in a road sweep (25-19, 25-21, 25-22) Saturday to secure the No. 2 seed in the WAC Tournament. With the win, New Mexico State improves to 18-8 overall and 13-3 in WAC play, while Fresno State falls to 13-14 overall and 6-9 in the conference.

The Aggies also bettered Fresno State in kills (45-34), assists (41-31) and blocks (8-7). The Bulldogs topped New Mexico State in digs (31-29).

NM State was led by Kayleigh Giddens with 13 kills, followed by Whitney Woods with 11. Jennah DeVries dished out 33 assists in the win.

Fresno State was paced by Lacey Gera with eight kills.


No. 3 Hawai'i 3, Idaho 0
Hawai’i won its 21st straight match Saturday, beating Idaho 25-12, 25-15, 25-21 at Memorial Gym in Moscow, Idaho. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 25-2 on the season and 15-0 in WAC play, while Idaho falls to 14-14 overall and 15-0 in the conference.
 
Hawai'i hit .340 on the match, compared to the .079 of the Vandals. The Rainbow Wahine also had more kills (47-25), assists (43-24), digs (49-37) and service aces (7-5). Idaho won the blocking battle, 10-6.

Aneli Cubi-Otineru had a match-high 16 kills on .375 hitting and added eight digs. Stephanie Ferrell had nine kills and Kanani Danielson had seven kills, hitting .353, while recording 10 digs. Dani Mafua had 36 assists, five kills and three blocks.

Idaho was led by Sarah Conwell with seven kills and seven digs.


Boise State 3, San Jose State 1
Boise State captured its seventh win of the season Saturday, defeating San Jose State, 3-1 (25-22, 25-12, 19-25, 25-21) at Bronco Gym. With the win, the Broncos improve to 7-20 overall and 7-8 in WAC play, while the Spartans fall to 1-25 overall and 1-14 in WAC play. The victory also gives Boise State its best regular-season WAC record by a Bronco team ever. The Broncos also produced the most conference wins in a season since 1998 when they had an 11-5 record in the Big West Conference.

The Broncos hit .232 on the night with 53 kills. They also tallied eight team blocks and 58 digs on the night. San Jose State was held to a .187 hitting percentage and 49 kills. The Spartans tallied 54 digs and 10 team blocks on the night.

Boise State was led by Alisha Young and Sadie Maughan with 16 and 15 kills, respectively. Maughan hit .458 on the night while also leading the team in blocks with five. Breann Nesselhuf dished out 43 assists and tallied 10 digs and four blocks.

San Jose State was led by Kylie Miraldi with 12 kills while Caitlin Andrade added five kills for a .455 hitting percentage. Andrande also added 38 assists and 11 digs on the night.
