Q: When and why did you start to play volleyball?
A:  I started playing volleyball in seventh grade because my junior high basketball coach told me I had to play if I wanted to be on the basketball team since he coached both. I ended up loving it.

Q:  What other sports did you play growing up?
A:  Basketball and track.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the court?
A:  Being a part of the student-athletic advisory committee has been a great experience because it has allowed me to be involved in another aspect of being a student-athlete.

Q: Why did you choose to become a Vandal?
A:  I loved the coaches, the team and the community of Moscow. The small-town atmosphere appealed to me because I came from such a big city.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A:  My aunt lived in Hawai'i for seven years and we used to visit her every year. I loved snorkeling and feeding the fish at Hanauma Bay,

Q:  What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A:  Being able to accomplish all I've done with volleyball while maintaining a good GPA and completing two majors and a minor.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A:  I hope to graduate with a 3.77 GPA and for us to make the NCAA Tournament.

Q: What's on your iPod?
A:  I listen to a little bit of everything; rap, country, pop, Christian, rock

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the court?
A:  I like to hang out with friends, watch movies, read and relax

Q:  If you had to live on a desert island for a year and could only take three items with you, what would you take?
A:  If one of those things could be a person it would be my mom. Other than that I would bring my Bible and a year supply of water.

Q: Name your favorite class...
A:  One of my favorite classes was a film history class analyzing Oliver Stone films. I also liked Constitutional Law.

Q: What is your game day routine?
A:  I eat pregame, get dressed, hair and makeup, write my goals for the game, drink an Emergen-C, listen to music and pray.

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A:  I expect us to be a team to be reckoned with in the WAC. We have the potential to do really well and make the NCAA Tournament.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A:  Of all time: Seinfeld.  Current show: The Office and The Bachelor

Q: Who has had the most influence on your life?
A:  My mom has the most influence on me. She knows everything.

Q: What are your plans following graduation?
A:  I'm applying to go to Law School for the fall of 2010. I'm going to Europe next semester for a few weeks. I'm so excited!

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A:  I don't know if it's advice, but my setter, Katie Tribley, gave me a quote in my locker one day that said, "As strong as my legs are, it is my mind that has made me a champion." This is so true because sports are so mental.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A:  Favorite pro-volleyball player Kim Walsh. Other sport: Eddie Williams. He plays for the Redskins and is the fiancé of one of my teammates.

Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actress would play your role?
A:  People tell me I kind of look like Julia Roberts and she's one of my favorite actresses so that would be awesome.

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?
A:  I would pay for my mom to get the kitchen remodel she's always wanted. She's too great of a cook to be working in such a small kitchen.

Q: Describe the perfect meal...
A:  My mom's lasagna is amazing! That, with homemade bread, spinach salad, fresh pineapple and her apple pie for dessert. Perfect!
