Q: When and why did you start to play volleyball?
A: I started playing volleyball when I was in 6th grade. I always played a bunch of sports but when I got to high school I started playing club and realized that I had the most fun playing volleyball so I focused on it the most.
Q: What other sports did you play growing up?
A: I played soccer, basketball, track, lacrosse, and cross country.
Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the court?
A: Off the court my most rewarding experience is being able to make great bonds with the girls on my team and also getting a college education and eventually graduating with a degree.
Q: Why did you choose to attend the University of Nevada?
A: I chose Nevada because the campus is beautiful and it is very close to Tahoe where I am able to ski and snowboard in the winter and go out onto the lake in the summer.
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: Our 4th of July's at my grandparent's house with my whole family there and a huge BBQ.
Q: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A: So far I think one of my greatest accomplishments as a student-athlete is the ability to perform on the court as well in the classroom, and to also save time for different activities I enjoy outside of volleyball.
Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A: I hope to finish college and graduate with a degree and I hope to make to the NCAA tournament by the time I graduate.
Q: What's on your iPod?
A: All different types of music: rap, hip-hop, R&B, country, techno…the list goes on forever.
Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the court?
A: When I am away from the court I like to just hang out with friends, eat some good food, watch a movie, and most of all just lay in bed.
Q: If you had to live on a desert island for a year and could only take three items with you, what would you take?
A: Probably water, chocolate, and my best friend.

A: Biology 223
Q: What is your game day routine?
A: On game day I normally have an energy drink, eat something quick, get taped, get dressed, dance to music, hang out in our team locker room- get pumped up, and after head on up to warm up for the game.
Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A: This year I would really like to make it to the NCAA tournament, but most of all make it into the top three in our conference and play in the WAC championship match.
Q: What is your favorite television show?
A: Entourage
Q: Who has had the most influence on your life?
A: My family.
Q: What are your plans following graduation?
A: Move back to the bay area and find a job.
Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A: Always play your game.

A: Tiger Woods

A: Probably a pair of Tory Burch shoes.
