Broncos 70-58 at Taco Bell Arena. The Bulldogs remain in first place in
the WAC with a 9-3 mark and an 18-7 overall record. Boise State drops
to 14-11 overall and 7-4 in conference play.
The Bulldogs shot 41 percent from the field while Boise State shot 38 percent. The Bulldogs out rebounded the Broncos 47-31.

Ross tied her career high of 24 points with six three-pointers. She
also had four assists and six rebounds. Joh-Teena Filipe scored 13
points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Ashley Walker scored 10 points.
Jamia
Malone led Boise State with 19 points. Janie Bos and Heather Pilcher
added 10 points apiece, while Bos grabbed a team-high eight boards.
Idaho 64, San Jose State 41
MOSCOW, Idaho ? Idaho used hot
second-half shooting to put away San Jose State Spartans and move into
sole possession of second place in the WAC with a 64-41 win Sunday at
the Cowan Spectrum. The Vandals improve to 11-11 overall and 8-3 in the
WAC, while San Jose State drops to 2-23 on the year and 1-11 in WAC
play.
Idaho shot a season-high 50 percent (21-of-42),
including 8-of-19 from beyond the arc. San Jose State shot just 33
percent from the field on 17-of-51 shooting, including 5-of-19 from
three-point range. The Vandals also out-rebounded the Spartans 33-28.
Shaena
Kuehu led the Vandals with 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and
four steals. Derisa Taleni added 12 points, while Alana Curtis finished
with 11 points. Yinka Olorunnife was just shy of a double-double,
finishing with nine points and 11 boards. She also had a
career-high-tying four blocks.
The Spartans were led in scoring
by Shaunna Ridge, who put in nine points and grabbed nine boards, while
both Natalie White and Kelly Blair contributed eight points.
Louisiana Tech 77, Nevada 59RUSTON, La. ? Louisiana Tech
defeated Nevada 77-59 before 1,720 fans at the Thomas Assembly Center
Sunday. With the win, the Techsters improve to 14-11 overall and 7-4 in
the WAC. Nevada falls to 13-11 overall and 7-4 in conference play.
Tech
shot a season-best 55 percent from the field (31-of-56), while the Wolf
Pack connected on 40 percent (22-of-55). Louisiana Tech also held the
advantage on the boards, 44-27.
Shanavia Dowdell led Tech with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Whitney Jones scored 16 points and Adrienne Johnson added 14.
Johnna Ward led Nevada with 12 points, while Brandi Jones added 10.
New Mexico State 69, Hawai?i 57

LAS CRUCES, N.M. ? New Mexico State got 52 points from its three starting guards in a 69-57 victory over Hawai’i Sunday at the Pan American Center. NMSU improves to 8-17 on the year and 4-7 in the WAC. Hawai’i falls to 5-19 overall and 2-9 in the league.
The Aggies shot 45 percent (27-of-60) from the floor, compared to the 43 percent (21-of-49) of the Rainbow Wahine. Hawai?i won the battle of the boards, 36-27, but turned the ball over 25 times.
Madison Spence had her second straight game with 20 points, which led all scorers Sunday. Danisha Corbett and Tyshae Walton added 18 and 14 points, respectively.
Hawai’i was led by Dita Liepkalne, who had 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting.
