RENO, Nev. ? Dellena Criner led three Nevada players in double figures as the Wolf Pack beat second-place Idaho, 69-53, Thursday night at Lawlor Events Center, snapping a four-game losing skid.
With the win, Nevada improves to 14-11 overall and 8-4 in the WAC, while Idaho falls to 11-12 overall and 8-4 in the WAC.
Nevada shot 41 percent (24-of-64) from the floor, 42 percent (5-of-12) from three-point range and 71 percent (12-of-17) from the free throw line on the game. Meanwhile, Idaho shot 46 percent (20-of-44) from the field, 44 percent (8-of-18) from long range and 50 percent (5-of-10) from the charity stripe. The Pack out-rebounded the Vandals 43-23 and forced 22 Idaho turnovers.
Criner paced Nevada with 19 points, while Kayla Williams finished with 11 and Johnna Ward added 10. Brandi Jones grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Derisa Taleni led Idaho with 23 points and five assists, while Alana Curtis added 12 points. Yinka Olorunnife finished with her eighth double-double of the season - 10 points and 10 rebounds.
