HONOLULU, Hawai?i ? Adrienne Johnson scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Louisiana Tech to an 89-71 win over Hawaii Sunday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
With the win, the Techsters improve to 9-4 in the WAC and 16-11 overall, while Hawai?i falls to 3-10 in league play and 6-20 overall.
The Lady Techsters hit 54 percent (33-of-61) from the field, 50 percent (6-of-12) from three-point range and a season-high 85 percent (17-of-20) from the free throw line. Hawai?i connected on 46 percent (29-of-63) from the field, 42 percent (8-of-19) from downtown and just 46 percent (5-of-11) from the charity stripe.
Tarkeisha Wysinger, Tiawana Pringle and Whitney Jones chipped in 12, 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Louisiana Tech.
Megan Tinnin led Hawaii with 17 points.
Boise State 75, Nevada 74

Boise, Idaho ? Boise State defeated Nevada 75-74 in WAC action Sunday at Taco Bell Arena in a game that saw 11 ties and 19 lead changes as neither team led by more than seven points during the game.
With the win, Boise State moves to 8-5 in league play and 15-12 overall. Nevada drops to 8-5 in WAC action and 14-12 on the season.
The Broncos shot 38 percent (24-of-64) from the field, 32 percent (7-of-22) from three-point range and 87 percent (20-of-23) from the free throw line. Nevada connected on 29-of-61 (48 percent) from the floor, 4-of-15 (27 percent) from beyond the arc and 12-of-19 (63 percent) from the foul line. Boise State won the rebounding battle, 40-39.
The Broncos were led in scoring by Brittany Moore with 14 points. Heather Pilcher and Melissa Rima 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Johnna Ward led Nevada with 19 points, followed by Shavon Moore’s 16 points and Cherlanda Franklin’s 14 points and team-best nine rebounds.

With the win, the Aggies improve to 13-12 overall and 7-5 in WAC action, matching the 2006-07 squad for the most league wins during the Aggies' four seasons in the conference. Idaho drops to 11-13 overall and 8-5 in league play with the loss.
Utah State head coach Raegan Pebley also ties Fern Gardner for the all-time winningest coach in Aggie women's basketball history with 55 wins.
Sunday was the Aggies' fifth OT game this season, improving to 3-2 in extra session games, with four of them coming at home. It was also USU's second double-OT game this year, after the 61-60 2OT loss at BYU on Dec. 13.
Utah State shot 38 percent (27-of-71) from the field, 38 percent (6-of-16) from three-point range and 63 percent (10-of-16) at the free throw line. Idaho was 19-of-61 (31 percent) from the field, 4-of-16 (25 percent) behind the arc and 22-of-26 (85 percent) at the charity stripe. USU had a 49-42 rebounding advantage, the Aggies' second-highest board total this season, and is now 10-1 in games in which ith out-rebounds its opponent.
The Aggies were paced by Danyelle Snelgro with 28 points, while Alice Coddington registered her first career double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Ana Pares added 12 points.
Idaho was led by Yinka Olorunnife's double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Rachele Kloke netted 16 points. Derisa Taleni and Shaena Kuehu added 15 and 11 points, respectively.
New Mexico State 64, San Jose State 50

SAN JOSE, Calif. ? New Mexico State won its first road game of the season Sunday, beating San Jose State 64-50 in WAC women’s basketball action. The Aggies improve to 9-18 on the year and 5-8 in the WAC, while the Spartans fall to 2-25 overall and 1-13 in the WAC with the loss.
NM State shot 45 percent (23-of-51) from the field and 74 percent (17-of-23) from the free throw line, but made just 1-of-10 (10 p10-of-19) from the charity stripe on the game. New Mexico State won the battle on the boards for just the second time in the last 10 games, as it out-rebounded SJSU 34-30, and forced 22 SJSU turnovers.
Tabytha Wampler led New Mexico State with 13 points, while Madison Spence added 12 points.
Natalie White led a trio of SJSU players in double-digit scoring with a game-high 14 points. Ashley Brown and Sayja Sumler added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
