Pebley Becomes USU's All-Time Winningest Coach

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - For the first time since the 1981-82 season, Utah State won its fourth-straight game, 69-52, at New Mexico State Thursday. With the win, head coach Raegan Pebley became the all-time winningest Aggie coach, earning her 56th win.

Utah State improves to 14-12 overall and 8-5 in the WAC, while New Mexico State drops to 9-19 overall and 5-9 in league play. The 14 USU wins are the most since the 2004-05 team went 14-14 in the final season in the Big West, while the eight WAC wins are the most conference wins since bringing the program back.

USU shot 36 percent from the field (21-of-59), 30 percent from three-point range (6-of-20) and 88 percent from the free throw line (21-of-24) on the game. New Mexico State shot 37 percent from the field (20-of-54), 54 percent from downtown (7-of-13) and 63 percent from the charity stripe (5-of-8). Utah State won the battle on the boards, 41-32.

Danyelle Snelgro scored 26 points for her third 20-point performance in the last four games. Ana Pares added 14 points. Both Nicole Johnson and Whitehead brought down eight rebounds, while Alice Coddington had seven.

Danisha Corbett led NMSU with 20 points, while Madison Spence added 14 and Tabytha Wampler finished with 11. Erica Sanchez blocked four shots.
