HONOLULU, Hawai?i - Keisha Kanekoa had 15 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists as Hawai?i defeated Boise State 68-67 in women's basketball action Sunday. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 7-21 overall and 4-11 in the WAC. The Broncos fall to 16-13 overall and 9-6 in conference play.
Hawai?i shot 43 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line. Boise State connected on 33 percent from the floor, 28 percent from downtown and 86 percent from the charity stripe on the game. The Rainbow Wahine out-rebounded the Broncos 44-41.
Dita Liepkalne scored 15 points for Hawai?i. Catherine Cho and Megan Tinnin added 12 points apiece.
Janie Bos paced Boise State with 15 points and nine rebounds. Courtney VanBrocklin scored 14 points, while Brittany Moore added 13. Heather Pilcher chipped in 10.
