Q: When and why did you start to play softball?
A:  I've played softball for as long as I can remember, probably around age 5. I started playing with my Dad, it was something we could do together and I loved the game as soon as I stepped on the field.

Q:  What other sports did you play growing up?
A:  Soccer, basketball, track and field, and I was on a swim team.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the field?
A:  One of my most rewarding experiences off the field was graduating this winter in front of family in friends. It was a great feeling to conclude four years of hard work with a degree.

Q: Why did you choose to attend Louisiana Tech?
A:  I chose to attend Louisiana Tech for the atmosphere and people. The small town atmosphere was welcoming and diverse and I instantly felt at home with the coaching staff and players.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A:  My family's camping vacations. My fondest memories are spending time with my brother and sister hiking and being around the campfire roasting marshmallows.

Q:  What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A:  Winning the WAC Tournament last year was by far my greatest accomplishment. Being able to contribute to a great team effort to take everyone by surprise was something I will never forget.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A:  I want to finish my collegiate career with a bang, while making memories to last a lifetime.

Q: What's on your iPod?
A:  A mixture of Matthew Nathanson, Citizen Cope, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson and Darius Rucker.

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the field?
A:  Spend time with friends, shop, bike, hike, and be artistic.

Q: Name your favorite class...
A:  Advertising

Q: What is your game day routine?
A:  I had a coach tell me that if you look good, and if you feel good, you play good. So I do my hair and make-up for every game and I never play a game without a ribbon. I have a lot of field rituals including singing the national anthem before every game with the outfield, and never step into the box without doing my on-deck circle routine.

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A:  To come together as a team and play as one without any pressure, and have FUN!

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A:  John and Kate Plus 8

Q: Who has influenced you the most?
A:  My Mom and Dad, they are my best friends.

Q: What do you want to do after college?
A:  I would love to travel and see the world. I want to stay around sports, working for a major league team and/or coach.

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A:  The most important things are accomplished through hard work and dedication.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A:  Juan Pierre for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actress would play your role?
A:  Rachel Bilson

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?
A:  A ticket to travel the world, and in my travels decide where to buy a vacation home.

Q: Describe the perfect meal...
A:  My perfect meal would be a home cooked meal by my mom, with all my friends and family. She is the best cook I know and would take her home cooking over any restaurant any day.
