Q: When and why did you start to play softball?
A:  I started playing softball when I was 9 years old. It was kind of the cool thing to do and all my friends were playing. They told me to come out for a practice and play so I tried, and ended up loving it.

Q:  What other sports did you play growing up?
A:  I was a figure skater starting from when I was around 4 years old. I also played volleyball and basketball in middle school. I was on the swimming team in high school and started to play tennis but it was during softball season so I couldn't pursue it.

Q: Why did you choose to attend Boise State?
A:  I chose to attend Boise State because of the atmosphere. The campus was beautiful, everyone including the town's people was welcoming and everyone was excited for the softball program to start. I love our coach and the sports facilities are awesome.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A:  My favorite childhood memory would have to be playing in the forest we lived in with my cousins. We built forts and got our rain boots on and went trailing all over the place.

Q:  What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A:  As a student-athlete my greatest accomplishment would have to be getting my associates degree and going on to get my bachelor's degree. I am the only college student in my family.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A:  I hope to accomplish graduating with a bachelor's degree and finding a good career.

Q: What's on your iPod?
A:  I have everything on my iPod from Marilyn Manson to Enya.

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the field?
A:  I love to go shopping and to the movies with my friends and family. I love spending time with my dog and reading. I also love the beach and the river in the summer.

Q: Name your favorite class...
A:  Psych 321, Child Development with Chris Palmer..

Q: What is your game day routine?
A:  My game day routine would be get up, eat, get uniform on ASAP, have Kels do my eye black, give my dog a kiss, listen to a certain song, and Ashleigh and I have a bat routine.

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A:  To make the WAC Tournament.

Q: What is your favorite television show?

A:   Grey's Anatomy. I love Derek.

Q: Who has influenced you the most?
A:  My parents have influenced me the most. They have stuck by me through thick and thin.  They told me to never quit through the rough times, and that I am a strong talented person.

Q: What do you want to do after college?
A:  Start a career and travel to Disneyland!!

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A:  'You can do anything you set your mind to. Hard work and dedication will take you everywhere.'

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A:  Barry Bonds

Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actress would play your role?
A:  I would want Kate Winslet to play the part because she is my favorite actress.

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?  

A:  Trip to Disneyland!

Q: Describe the perfect meal...
A:  A barbecue. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pop, fruit salad, potato salad.
