Q: When and why did you start to play softball?
A: I played softball at the age of 6 and I started because it looked fun.
Q: What other sports did you play growing up?
A: I played volleyball in high school, basketball when I was 9.
Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the field?
A: Getting a scholarship and getting to see California.
Q: Why did you choose to attend Fresno State?
A: The coaching staff, softball program and academic program.
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: I used to love Barney and I owned a Barney umbrella. I walked to the bus stop when it was raining and a girl pointed at me saying, "You like Barney! You like Barney!" and I started putting the umbrella away. I never liked Barney again.
Q: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A: Getting a 3.4 GPA my 1st year in college.
Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A: To maintain a 3.0 or higher throughout college.
Q: What's on your iPod?
A: Everything except surprisingly...country
Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the field?
A: I like to go shopping with friends and listen to Mackenzie (Oakes) tell her funny stories.
Q: Name your favorite class.
A: My favorite was Drama 62 with Dan Carrion because he was the funniest and coolest professor.
Q: What is your game day routine?
A: Ipod, warming up
Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A: To be the very best we can be and if we do we should be able to accomplish our goals.
Q: What is your favorite television show?
A: Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens
Q: Who has influenced you the most?
A: My parents and coaches because they have taught me the good values in life on and of the field.
Q: What do you want to do after college?
A: Find a job, get married, have kids
Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A: Be strong no matter what be strong - Coach Wright
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A: Peyton Manning from the Indianapolis Colts because he is humble and an amazing quarterback.
Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actress would play your role?
A: Sandra Bullock because she seems like an actress who would kick butt and that would be what my life would be like.
Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?
A: I would get a private jet so I could fly back and forth from California to Indiana anytime I want.
Q: Describe the perfect meal.
A: Sloppy joes, In N' Out Fries, Mountain Dew, a big jar of peanut M&M's.
