Q: When and why did you start to play baseball?
A:  I had a glove in my crib I guess you could say I was playing baseball from the start.  Everyone in my family is a big baseball fan and it has always been my favorite sport.  

Q:  What other sports did you play growing up?
A:  I played soccer when I was little and baseball, basketball, and football all through high school.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the field?

A:  With the help of the Salvation Army I organized a bike drive for less fortunate children at Christmas.   

Q: Why did you choose to attend the University of Nevada?
A:  I liked that they weren't afraid to schedule anyone in the country and I really enjoyed the campus and surrounding area.  

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A:  Having the opportunity to travel and have fun with my family.

Q:  What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A:  Earning a scholarship to play at the University of Nevada.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A:  I hope to have a very successful senior season before graduating with my degree.  

Q: What's on your iPod?
A:  A little bit of everything- Three Days Grace, Rebelution, 3 Doors Down, and Garth Brooks just to name a few.

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the field?
A:  I enjoy relaxing with my family, Jeana, and all of my friends. I love to do anything outdoors including skim boarding, fishing, and just being in the sun.

Q: Name your favorite class...
A:  Management 491- Senior Seminar-Negotiation  

Q: What is your game day routine?
A:  I get up early and eat breakfast then go to the field for pre-game.  After that I eat a sandwich and I am ready to play.  

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A;  I expect us to play hard every pitch of the game.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A:  Dog Whisperer, Anthony Bourdain -No Reservations, and Baseball Tonight

Q: Who has influenced you the most?
A:  My parents have had a profound impact on how I live my life as well as many others.  There will always be too many to list and for that I am forever grateful.   

Q: What do you want to do after college?
A:  I would like to have a job, a family, and remain around baseball.

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A:  Work hard and good things will happen.  Don't draw attention to yourself, if you are doing the right thing people will notice.

A:  Ken Huckaby

Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actor would play your role?
A:  Owen Wilson

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?  
A:  In today's market I would buy a house.  

Q: Describe the perfect meal...
A:  My perfect meal includes: Milk, Twice Baked Potatoes, Steak, Asparagus, and Crème Brule for dessert.
