NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced its 2009 Division I All-Academic Track and Field selections. 32 WAC student-athletes were among those receiving the academic honor, including 21 women and 11 men.
Utah State led the way on the women's side with five honorees. Fresno State, Hawai‘i and Nevada each had four, while Boise State and Idaho each had two.
Boise State fronted the men's side with five athletes receiving academic honors. Idaho and Utah State each had three.
