Q: When and why did you start to play softball?
A: I started to play when I was eight because my babysitter at the time was playing softball at UCSB and I wanted to be like her.

Q: What other sports did you play growing up?
A: Nothing really - soccer and gymnastics for a year.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the field?
A: Hanging out with girls on the team and making life long friends.

Q: Why did you choose to attend SJSU?
A: I like the location, as well as what Coach Turner teaches and represents.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: When I cut off my best friend's pony tail and hid it in my closet.

Q: What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as a student-athlete?
A: Receiving the Dean's Scholar Award and Academic All-WAC honors.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A: Post-season play.

Q: What's on your iPod?
A:  A little bit of everything, but I love me some country and classic rock!  The Eagles, Kenny Chesney, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty….

Q: What do you like to do when you are away from the field?
A:  Hang out with my family and friends.  Listen to music and eat!

A:  Alternative lifestyles with Wiggsy.

Q: What is your game day routine?
A:  Dance with my roommates to get the energy flowing.

Q: What are your expectations for your team this season?
A:  To play hard every game.  It's important for us to give it everything we have every time we step onto the field.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A:  American Idol

Q: Who has influenced you the most?
A:  My dad.  He's taught me the importance of heart and hard work.

Q: What do you want to do after college?
A:  I'm not entirely sure, but I know I want to travel and work with kids.

Q: What is the best advice you have received?
A:  Even when times are hard, it's important to never ever give up.  Always find a positive in every situation

A:  Chase Utley

Q: If Hollywood were to make a movie about your life, which actress would play your role?
A:  Cameron Diaz

Q: If you were to win a million dollars what would be your first purchase?  
A: Lady Gaga tickets and then a car.

A:  My mom's meatloaf, broccoli, potatoes and ice cold milk with frozen oreo's for dessert.
