Fresno State 75, Nevada 66
Fresno State had five players in double figures scoring in a 75-66 win over Nevada at the Lawlor Events Center Thursday. WIth the win, the Bulldogs improve to 14-5 overall and 5-0 in WAC. Nevada dropped to 10-9 overall and 4-1 in conference.

Nevada entered the game veraging 41 rebounds a game, but was held to 33 as the Dogs out-rebounded the Wolf Pack 34-33. Fresno State shot 46 percent from the field, while Nevada shot 48 percent from the field. The Bulldogs turned the ball over only 13 times while forcing 20 Wolf Pack turnovers.

Jaleesa Ross had 20 points and tied her season high for three-pointers made in a game with six. Joh-Teena Filipe tied her career high with 16 points, while LaShay Fears had 12 points and Emma Andrews and Hayley Munro each had 11 points.  Munro led the Bulldogs with seven rebounds while Andrews tied her career high in rebounds with five.

Tahnee Robinson led Nevada with 17 points, while Amanda Johnson added a career-high 14.  Kayla Williams recorded her third career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Johnna Ward scored 12 points.


Louisiana Tech 75, Hawai'i 62
Whitney Jones scored 18 points and Shanavia Dowdell and Adrienne Johnson each recorded double-doubles to lead Louisiana Tech to a 75-62 win over Hawai'i Thursday night.

With the win, the Techsters improve to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in the WAC, while Hawai'i falls to 8-11 on the year and 2-4 in conference play.

Johnson finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals, while Dowdell added 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Allie Patterson led Hawai'i with 18 points, while Dita Liepkalne added 15 points.
