Fresno State 73, Boise State 66
Joh-Teena Filipe scored a career-high 18 points and Fresno State set a school record for its best start in conference play by beating Boise State 73-66 Wednesday evening in front of a national audience on ESPNU.

Fresno State is now 16-5 overall and 7-0 in the WAC, while Boise State drops to 13-7 on the year and 2-4 in conference play.

Both teams shot 41 percent from the floor and the Bulldogs out-rebounded Boise State 41-39.

In addition to her 18 points, Filipe grabbed a team-best nine rebounds. Emma Andrews had 13 points off the bench, while Hayley Munro had 11 points and Jaleesa Ross added 11 points and five assists.

Boise State was led by Jessica Van Hoogen with a game-high 22 points, while Tasha Harris added 18 points and nine rebounds.

Utah State 57, Idaho 55
A TaHara Williams jumper with one second remaining led Utah State to a 57-55 road win over Idaho at the Cowan Spectrum Wednesday. The win snaps a season-high four-game losing streak for the Aggies.
 
For the fifth-straight game, Utah State scored less than 60 points, but for the first time the Aggies captured the win. With the victory, Utah State improves to 11-9 overall and 3-4 in WAC action. Idaho falls to 4-15 overall and 2-3 in league play.

The Aggies shot 50 percent (23-of-46) from the field and a season-high 57 percent (8-of-14) from three-point range. The Vandals shot 45 percent (23-of-51) from the field and 42 percent (5-of-12) from downtown.
 
Williams was the Aggies' leading scorer with 12 points. Amber White and Banna Diop both scored 10 points. Nicole Johnson notched two blocks and is now three away from tying Jessica Freeman as the USU career blocks leader with 127.
 
Idaho was led by Shaena Kuehu and Rachele Kloke who both scored 14 points. Yinka Olorunnife led all players with nine rebounds.


Hawai'i 63, San Jose State 49

Hawai'i held San Jose State to just 13 first-half points en route to a 63-49 victory Wednesday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 9-12 overall and 3-5 in WAC play. San Jose State drops to 5-14 on the year and 1-5 in the conference.

Hawai'i shot 44 percent from the field on the game, compared tot he 29 percent of the Spartans. The Rainbow Wahine also won the rebounding battle, 43-35.

Keisha Kanekoa led Hawai'i with 12 points and six assists.

Chasity Shavers paced the Spartans with 16 points.
