New Mexico State 91, Louisiana Tech 77
RUSTON, La. (AP)-- Hamidu Rahman had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead New Mexico State to a 91-77 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.
Jahmar Young added 19 points as the Aggies (13-8, 6-2 Western Athletic Conference), who shot 53.6 percent from the field (37-for-69), won for the fifth time in six games.
New Mexico State scored nine of the first 11 points of the second half to stretch a two-point lead into a 57-46 advantage on Young's layup with 17:20 to play.
Wendell McKines' 3-pointer gave the Aggies a 65-54 lead with 15:01 left, and they retained a double-figure lead until the end.
Gordo Castillo went 5-for-6 from the 3-point line to score 17, and McKines finished with 13 points and nine boards.
Magnum Rolle scored 27 points and had 15 rebounds for Louisiana Tech (18-4, 6-2), and Kyle Gibson finished with 23 points. DeAndre Brown added 16 points for the Bulldogs.
Utah State 77, San Jose State 58
LOGAN, Utah (AP)-- Nate Bendall scored a career-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Saturday as Utah State won its sixth straight game with a 77-58 victory over San Jose State.
Brady Jardine added a career-high 17 points for the Aggies (16-6, 6-2 Western Athletic) and Pooh Williams had 14.
Adrian Oliver had 19 points and Mac Peterson 11 for the Spartans (12-9, 5-4).
Up 39-36 at halftime, Utah State used four straight points from Jardine and a 3-pointer from Brian Green to extend the lead to 53-42 with 13:03 to play.
The Aggies got 24 points in the paint in the second half compared to eight for San Jose State. Utah State also shot 60.7 percent from the field in the second half, while the Spartans were held to 21.4 percent.
Nevada 66, Hawai‘i 60
RENO, Nev. (AP)-- Luke Babbitt scored 20 points as Nevada held off Hawaii, 66-60, Saturday night in Western Athletic Conference play.
Brandon Fields added 11 points as Nevada (13-8, 5-3) improved to 10-1 at home this season.
Hawaii (9-13, 2-7) was led by Roderick Flemings, who scored 17 points.
Hawaii tied the game at 56-56 with four minutes to go on a lay-up by Flemings. Nevada scored on six consecutive free throws in the final 37.5 seconds to secure the victory.
Hawaii went on a 12-0 run over the final six minutes of the first half to force a 28-28 halftime tie. Hiram Thompson hit a 3-pointer and Flemings completed a three-point play to key the run for the Warriors.
Nevada jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first three minutes as Fields drained a pair of 3-pointers.
Brandon Adams finished with 13 points for Hawaii.

Boise State 65, Fresno State 49
BOISE, Idaho (AP)-- Daequon Montreal and Kurt Cunningham scored 13 points each to lead Boise State to a 65-49 victory over Fresno State on Saturday night.
The Broncos (11-11, 2-7 Western Athletic Conference) won their second straight conference game after dropping their first seven, their worst start since joining the WAC in 2001.
Fresno State (11-12, 4-5), which edged Boise State at home earlier this season, remains winless on the road in conference play.
Paul Noonan finished with 12 points, all on 3-pointers, and led the Broncos in rebounding with six.
Jerry Brown paced Fresno State with 10 points, while Greg Smith and Sylvester Seay added nine points each.
Idaho 87, Seattle 85
SEATTLE (AP)-- Steffan Johnson had 18 points and Idaho converted 10 of 12 free throws in the final 2 1/2 minutes to hold on and beat Seattle 87-85 on Saturday night.
Luciano de Souza hit two free throws with 28.8 seconds to play to give the Vandals an 82-78 cushion.
Seattle (9-13) kept sending Idaho (10-10) to the line, but the Vandals hit 9-of-10 free throws, including four by Kashif Watson in the final 20 seconds.
Taylor Olson drilled a 3-pointer from the left corner to pull Seattle within one with 1.1 seconds left to play. After Idaho hit 1-of-2 free throws, the Redhawks were unable to get away a final shot attempt.
Charles Garcia had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead Seattle.
Seattle jumped out to a 24-12 lead midway through the first half behind six points each from Garcia and Aaron Broussard.
The Vandals climbed back into the game with a barrage of 3-pointers late in the half. Mac Hopson connected on two 3s and de Souza drained back-to-back 3-pointers from the top of the key to pull Idaho to within six.
Seattle held a seven-point lead early in the second half before an 8-0 run gave Idaho its first lead since the opening minutes.
Garcia scored 17 of his points after the break, trying to keep the Redhawks in the game.
After Seattle briefly took the lead, Idaho went to a full-court trap that pressured Seattle into turnovers and led to 72-65 Idaho lead with 5:34 to play.
Luiz Toledo scored 16 points and Watson added 14 for the Vandals.
Chris Gweth had 15 points for Seattle.
