Nevada 3, Utah State 1
Kylie Harrington led three Nevada players in double-figure kills with 20 as the Wolf Pack defeated Utah State 3-1 (26-24, 22-25, 25-19, 25-16) at the Virginia Street Gym Friday night. With the victory, the Pack improve to 10-9 overall and 4-2 in WAC play while USU drops to 14-5 on the year and 2-4 in the conference.

Nevada hit .287 in the match, compared to the .197 of the Aggies.  Both teams had seven blocks.

With 20 kills and 12 digs Harrington produced her team-leading fifth double-double of the season. Lindsay  Baldwin finished with 16 kills and Janelle Batista contributed a career-high 11. Setter Tatiana Santiago dished out 58 assists, one off her career-high of 59 set earlier this season. Nicole Link finished with a match-high 17 digs.

Liz McArthur led USU with 17 kills. Christine Morrill had 13 digs to become the school's all-time leader in that category. She now has 1,617 digs in her career to move ahead of Kelsi Peterson (2003-06) who held the record with 1,614.


Hawai'i 3, San Jose State 0
No. 4 Hawai‘i swept through San Jose State  (25-16, 25-12, 25-15) in front of a crowd of 7,040 at the Stan Sheriff Center Friday. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in the WAC. The Spartans fall to 8-13 on the year and 3-5 in conference play.

Hawai'i out-hit Sa Jose State .383 to .036. The Rainbow Wahine also had more kills (45-24), assists (44-23), service aces (5-1), digs (36-30) and blocks (10-4).
 
Kanani Danielson led UH, hitting .387 with 15 kills, five digs and four blocks. Chanteal Satele posted eight kills and a .375 hitting percentage, while Brittany Hewitt went for six kills, seven blocks and two aces. Elizabeth Ka‘aihue led all players with 14 digs.

San Jose State was led by Taylor Japhet with seven kills and Hanah Blume with six.
