The 20th annual Western Athletic Conference women's golf championship is April 19-21 at the 6,146-yard, par-71 Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. San Jose State is the defending champion after placing all five of its players in the top-13 in last year's championship in Reno. Last year's individual champion, Erica Moston of San Jose State, is gone, but both Kayla Mortellaro of Idaho and Louisa Lies of Fresno State return after the pair tied for second place, three strokes behind Moston. Mortellaro has averaged a WAC-best 72.22 strokes per round and is currently ranked seventh in the nation by Golfstat after winning three individual titles this season. San Jose State's Cristina Corpus is also a multiple winner this year with two victories while her teammate Katrina Delen Briones and Lies have also earned titlest honors during the year.
