Fresno State tennis player Anastasia Petukhova has been named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America second team.
Petukhova closed out her career with a 3.91 cumulative grade-point average, while majoring in business entrepreneurship. She plans on owning her own business.
Petukhova made her third NCAA Singles Tournament appearance this season and ended her career No. 3 on the Fresno State career wins list with 108 victories. She was named first team all-WAC three times in both singles and doubles.
In addition, she was a two-time NCAA All-American in doubles, one half of the 2009 ITA National Doubles Team of the Year, a 2008 NCAA All-American and helped the Bulldogs win three-straight WAC Championships and advance to three-straight NCAA Sweet 16s while at Fresno State.
