NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship Central

Hawai‘i's Amber Kaufman capped day one of the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Eugene, Ore. with a national title in the women's high jump. Kaufman cleared 1.86 meters on Wednesday to become Hawai‘i's first track and field national champion in 26 years. On day two of championship competition, Boise State's Pontus Thomee unleashed a career-best throw of 73.60 meters to place second in the men's javelin. Day three's events finished with Utah State's Clint Silcock earning All-America honors in the men's high jump with a jump of 2.17 meters.

The Western Athletic Conference sent 22 outdoor track and field student-athletes to compete at the NCAA Championship Final Rounds held June 9-12 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. From the WAC, 12 men will enter a total of 11 events, and 10 women will compete in a total of seven events at the championship, listed below.
