New Mexico State 3, Louisiana Tech 0
New Mexico State swept past Louisiana Tech for the second time in three days Saturday, winning 25-18, 25-19, 25-12. With the win, the Aggies improve to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in WAC play. The Techsters fall to 9-7 on the year and 0-2 in the conference.

Kayleigh Giddens led all players with 22 kills on .556 hitting to go along with eight digs. Rocio Gutierrez added 12 kills.

LA Tech was led by Kara Jones with seven kills.


Fresno State 3, Boise State 2
The Bulldogs defeated Boise State in five sets Saturday, 19-25, 29-27, 21-25, 25-23, 15-7. With the win, Fresno State improves to 6-7 overall and 1-1 in the WAC. Boise State falls to 13-3 on the year and 1-1 in conference play.

Both teams tallied 64 kills, while the Broncos out-hit the Bulldogs .238-.216. Boise State had 15 service errors in the loss.

Brianna Clarke tallied a season-high 18 kills on .444 hitting percentage. Kasey Van Grouw dished out a season-high 36 assists.

Sadie Maughan led Boise State with 17 kills, followed by Alisha Young and Fiona Jones with 14 and 13, respectively.


San Jose State 3, Idaho 2
The Spartans snapped an 11-match WAC losing streak with a five-set (25-17, 21-25, 18-25, 25-15, 15-8) win over Idaho Saturday. With the win, San Jose State improves to 6-9 overall and 1-1 in WAC play. The Vandals drop to 6-7 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

The Spartans out-hit the Vandals .252-.130 on the match and bettered Idaho in every other statistical category but blocks.

Taylor Japehet led all players with 19 kills, while Sarah Griest and Brianna Amian added 11 apiece.

Allison Walker and Miranda Pratt had 16 kills each to pace Idaho.
