Q: Why did you choose to attend San Jose State?
A: I chose to attend San Jose State for many reasons; the most important reason is this college is close to home which allows my family to come watch all my home games. I have a younger sister who just recently graduated from high school and I didn't want to miss her junior and senior year. I also chose San Jose State because a lot of my friends are going to this school, and a lot of them are on the soccer team.

Q: What has been your most rewarding experience off the field?
A: My most recent rewarding experience would have to be getting the three soccer balls signed for a breast cancer event. I have never really been a part of helping out in an event, but this year my best friend's family asked me to help them out with getting things to be auctioned off.  With help from some coaches and friends, I was able to get a soccer ball signed by the San Jose Earthquakes, another signed by the Gold Pride, and the last ball signed by this year's SJSU Women's soccer team. I was also able to get some more donations towards this event, which helped me realize anything can help no matter how big or small the donation is.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I love hanging out with my friends and family during my spare time. I like going to the beach, visiting other family out of town and most of all sleeping!!!!!

Q: If you could have lunch with three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
A: I would have to say the first person I would love to have lunch with would be my younger cousin Tyler, who passed away last year. I miss him so much; I wish I had more time with him before he died.  Tyler has taught me to live every moment to the fullest, don't put off what you can do today for tomorrow because you never know if there is a tomorrow.

The second person would be my older brother, Brandon because he lives in Washington, so I don't get to see him much.  Going to lunch is always fun with him because it gives us plenty of time to catch up and have fun before he has to go home.

My third choice would be my close friends, I know that's not just one person but there is a good reason I have chosen them to have lunch with. They are awesome people, and there is never a dull moment with them.  There has never been a moment when I wish I don't see them. They always put a smile on my face, and definitely would not have gotten through last year without them.  Some of these friends are Samantha Beall, Mandy Martin, Kim Johnston, Michelle Haughey, Hallsie Pacheco, Natalie Jennings, and my sister Natalie.

Q: Tell us something most people don't know about you.
A: Most people don't know that I have a twin brother, Christopher.  Another thing people don't know about me is my family owns three Australian Sheppards.

Q: What are your plans following graduation?
A: Following graduation I plan to coach a soccer team as well as go to grad school.  Those are the only two solid plans for right now.

Q: What is your favorite television show?
A: My all time favorite television show is Friends! It is by far the best show; I can never get enough of that show.

Q: What do you still hope to accomplish as a student-athlete?
A: I hope to improve my grades while doing the best I can in my sport. I want to help my teammates and friends accomplish their goals as a student-athlete.

Q: What are your top three movies?
A: My Top 3 movies are:

1. A Walk to Remember

2. Free Willy

3. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Q: What class have you enjoyed the most thus far?
A: That is a tough question; I really enjoyed my intro to kinesiology and my Philosophy class last semester.

Q: What book would you recommend to a friend?
A: The first book that came to mind when I read this question was a Dr. Seuss book called "Oh, The Places You'll Go". This book was given to me by my parents when I graduated from high school. This Dr. Seuss book is awesome and has cheered me up and kept me positive about everything,  it has helped me stay focused on my goals and reminds me that there are many experiences that I have not gone through yet.

Q: What goals / expectations do you have for your team this season?
A: One goal I have for my team is to keep improving together.  We didn't end the season last year the way we wanted to, but I know this season will be different.  Last season has taught us to focus on one game at a time, and play with intensity from the first to the final whistle.

Q: If you could only eat one item for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: A peanut butter and jelly with bananas sandwiches is at the top of my list. My dad makes those for me, and they never get old. They are very yummy!
