LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State hosts No. 6 Hawai'i in a nationally-televised WAC volleyball match on ESPNU at 8 p.m. (MT) Wednesday, Sept. 29. It is the first of five WAC volleyball matches to air on the network this season.
The Rainbow Wahine (12-1, 2-0) are led by reigning WAC Player of the Year Kanani Danielson, who averages 4.62 kills on .309 hitting and 2.77 digs per set.
New Mexico State (8-7, 2-0) is tied at the top of the WAC standings with Hawai'i. Senior Kayleigh Giddens currently ranks eighth nationally and leads the WAC with 4.83 kills per set.
The Aggies are the last team to hand the Rainbow Wahine a WAC loss, back on Oct. 12, 2008.
