Louisiana Tech 91, Utah State 74
Adrienne Johnson scored a career-high 36 points as Louisiana Tech remained unbeaten in WAC play with a 91-74 win over Utah State Thursday.

The Techsters shot 45 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free throw line, while Utah State connected on 36 percent from the field and 84 percent from the charity stripe. The Aggies edged the Techsters on the boards, 45-44.

Johnson added 13 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season.

Utah State was paced by Ashlee Brown with 24 points and 13 boards.


San Jose State 63, Idaho 61
The Spartans picked up their first win of the season Thursday, a 63-61 WAC victory over Idaho.

San Jose State shot 40 percent (19-for-48) from the field in the contest, while holding Idaho to 37 percent (19-for-51). However, it was the Spartans' season-high 83 percent (20-for-24) shooting from the line that proved to be the difference-maker late in the game.

Marnesha Hall and Sara Plavljanin both tallied 13 points to lead San Jose State, as four Spartans scored in double-figures.

Idaho was led by Yinka Olorunnife with a career-high 34 points to go with 13 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season.
