Louisiana Tech 67, Nevada 43
Louisiana Tech defeated Nevada 67-43 before 2,249 fans in WAC action Saturday. LA Tech improved to 13-5 overall and 5-0 in WAC play with the win. Nevada fell to 13-5 on the season and 2-3 in league action.

Louisiana Tech shot 38 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Wolf Pack shot 36 percent from the field and 63 percent from the free throw line. The 43 points was a season low for Nevada.

Tech also forced the Wolf Pack into 28 turnovers while committing a season-low six.

Adrienne Johnson scored a game-high 26 points, while Shantale Bramble-Donaldson added 12.

Tahnee Robinson led the Wolf Pack with 14 points.


Idaho 68, Boise State 48
Three Vandals scored in double as Idaho ran away with a 68-48 win over Boise State in Moscow on Saturday night. With the win, the Vandals improve to 10-7 on the season and 3-2 in WAC play. Boise State drops to 11-8 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

The Vandals shot 46 percent from the field, including 42 percent from beyond the arc, while holding BSU to just 37 percent for the game, including 18 percent from long range. Idaho also owned the glass, with a 36-27 advantage in rebounding.

Rachele Kloke led all players with 15 points. Derisa Taleni added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists. Yinka Olorunnife had 13 points and six boards.

Boise State was led by Lauren Lenhardt's 14 points.


New Mexico State 75, Utah State 71

Madison Spence and Danisha Corbett tallied 23 and 21 points, respectively, as NM State picked up a 75-71 home victorty over Utah State Saturday. With the win, NM State improves to 9-10 overall and 3-2 in the WAC. Utah State drops to 8-10 on the year and 2-3 in conference play.

NM State shot 46 percent from the field, 42 percent from three-point range and 85 percent from the free throw line on the game. Utah State connected on 43 percent from the field, 36 percent from downtown and 86 percent from the charity stripe. NM State edged Utah State on the board, 33-31.

Tabytha Wampler finished with 13 points as the third NM State player to reach double-digit scoring. Spence added four assists and three steals.

Utah State was led by Ashlee Brown with 19 points, Devyn Christensen with 13 and Alice Coddington with 11.


San Jose State 53, Hawai'i 43
The Spartans picked up their second consecutive victory Saturday, defeating Hawai'i 53-43 in WAC action. With the win, San Jose State improves to 2-16 overall and 2-3 in WAC play. Hawai'i falls to 6-12 on the year and 0-5 in conference play.

The Spartans shot 28 percent from the field, 17 percent from three-point range and 92 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Rainbow Wahine connected on 28 percent from the field, 16 percent from downtown and 58 percent from the charity stripe. Hawai'i won the rebounding battle 38-35.

AJ Newton led all players with 15 points, followed by Sara Plavljanin with 11.

Breanna Arbuckle and Shawna-Lei Kuehu led Hawai'i with 11 points apiece. Kamilah Jackson was just shy of a double-double, finishing with nine points and 13 rebounds.
