Hawai'i Ranked Eighth in NFCA Preseason Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Hawai'i has been selected to the preseason Top 25 by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). The Rainbow Wahine are ranked No. 8. Meanwhile, Fresno State received votes in the poll.

Hawai'i is coming off its best season in program history (50-16), during which it set the NCAA record for home runs in a season with 158. The Rainbow Wahine return NFCA All-Americans Melissa Gonzalez and Kelly Majam, along with WAC Player of the Year Jessica Iwata and WAC Pitcher of the Year Stephanie Ricketts.
