Fresno State 65, San Jose State 33
Jaleesa Ross scored a game-high 18 points to become the leading scorer in Fresno State women's basketball history as the Bulldogs cruised to a 65-33 win over San Jose State at the Save Mart Center on Thursday night. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 14-6 on the year and 5-1 in WAC play. The Spartans fall 2-17 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Fresno State shot 41 percent from the field, 27 percent from three-point range and 53 percent from the free throw line on the game, while SJSU connected on 32 percent from the field, 25 percent from downtown and 33 percent from the charity stripe. The Bulldogs also out-rebounded the Spartans 39-33.

Bree Farley added nine points and eight rebounds for Fresno State.

San Jose State's Brittany Johnson was just shy of a double-double, finishing with nine points and 15 rebounds.


Louisiana Tech 63, Idaho 56

The Lady Techsters remained undefeated in WAC play with a 63-56 win over Idaho Thursday. With the victory, LA Tech improved to 14-5 overall and 6-0 in WAC play. Idaho dropped to 10-8 on the season and 3-3 in the conference.

The Techsters shot 38 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point range and 67 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Vandals connected on 39 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arc and 68 percent from the line. LA Tech edged Idaho on the boards, 37-36.

Adrienne Johnson led LA Tech with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Tarkeisha Wysinger-Mackey added 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Yinka Olorunnife led Idaho with 15 points and 12 rebounds.


New Mexico State 87, Boise State 71

Danisha Corbett hit seven three-pointers en route to a new career high of 31 points to lead New Mexico State to an 87-71 win over Boise State inside Taco Bell Arena Thursday. With the win, NM State improves to 10-10 overall and 4-2 in the WAC, while Boise State drops to 11-9 overall and 2-4 in the WAC.

NM State shot 51 percent from the field, 63 percent from three-point range and 86 percent from the free throw line on the game. Boise State connected on 41 percent from the field, 26 percent from downtown and 88 percent from the charity stripe. The Broncos led NM State on the glass, 38-30. The 16-point win is the largest-ever in the series for the Aggies against Boise State, topping a 14-point decision over the Broncos in 2008 in Las Cruces.

The Aggies' Jasmine Lowe tallied her first double-double of the season, finishing with 17 points and a career-high 11 assists. Madison Spence added 18 points, while Tabytha Wampler had 10.

Lauren Lenhardt led Boise State with 30 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Kati Isham added 14 for the Broncos.


Utah State 52, Hawai'i 41

Ashlee Brown's school-record eighth double-double of the season with game highs of 21 points and 14 rebounds sparked Utah State to a 52-41 win over Hawai'i Thursday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. With the win, the Aggies improve to 9-10 overall and 3-3 in WAC play. Hawai'i slides to 6-14 overall and 0-7 in conference action.

Utah State shot 33 percent from the field, 28 percent from three-point range and a season-low 35 percent at the free throw line. Hawai'i connected on 33 percent from the field, 11 percent from beyond the arc and 71 percent at the charity stripe. The Rainbow Wahine had a slight rebounding edge, 42-40.

Brown's 21 points and 14 rebounds were her eighth double-double this season, passing the single-season school record of seven held by former Aggie Ali Marchant during the 2003-04 season.

Keisha Kanekoa led Hawai'i with 15 points, while Julita Bungaite pulled down a team-leading 12 rebounds.
