LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State hosts No. 8 Hawai‘i in a battle of the only two remaining unbeaten teams in WAC play in a nationally-televised WAC volleyball match on ESPNU at 8 p.m. (MT) Wednesday, Oct. 12.

The Rainbow Wahine are 15-1 on the year with their only loss coming at the hands of then-No. 12 UCLA. Hawai‘i has won 46 consecutive WAC regular-season matches, dating back to Oct. 12, 2008, when it fell at home to New Mexico State.

The Aggies are riding a six-match winning streak and are 4-0 in October, including sweeps of Fresno State, Nevada and defending WAC Tournament champion Utah State, the last WAC team to beat the Rainbow Wahine. NM State freshman Meredith Hays leads the WAC and ranks 21st nationally with 4.34 kills per set.
