Idaho 3, Nevada 1
Idaho collected its fourth straight win, including its third straight in WAC play as it topped Nevada 23-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15 in Memorial Gym Thursday night. With the win, Idaho moves its overall record above .500 for the first time since starting 1-0 as the Vandals improve to 10-9 on the season and 4-2 in the WAC. Nevada drops to 3-14 on the season and 1-5 in the WAC.

The Vandals out-hit Nevada .245 to .125, and finished with 49 kills, 48 digs, 9.0 total blocks and a season-high 10 service aces. The Wolf Pack had 44 kills, 34 digs, 10.0 total blocks and three aces in the match.

Allison Walker had her seventh consecutive double-double and 10th of the season as she finished with a match-high 17 kills and added 10 digs. Alicia Milo had 12 kills and Cassie Hamilton had a match-high 15 digs on the night.

Nevada was led by Tessa Lea'ea with 12 kills and five blocks. Elissa Ji had 11 kills and 13 digs for her third double-double of the season.


Utah State 3, Fresno State 1
Utah State's scored the final 11 points to notch a four-set win against WAC foe Fresno State (25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 25-14) Thursday night. With the win, the Aggies improve to 8-11 on the season and 3-3 in WAC play. Fresno State falls to 8-10 overall and 3-3 in league play with the loss.

Utah State out-hit Fresno State .188 to .048. USU also had 5.0 more team blocks (12.5-7.5) and two more service aces in the match (5-3), while FS had four more digs (65-61) and four fewer service errors (9-5).

Liz McArthur had 16 kills and 10 digs for her 10th double-double of the season and 22nd of her career. Shay Sorensen had 10 kills and four blocks to go along with a career-high eight digs.

Maci Murdock had 14 kills and Christina Lee added a match-best 27 digs for Fresno State.


San Jose State 3, Louisiana Tech 0
The Spartans picked up their first WAC road win with a sweep of Louisiana Tech Thursday. With the win, San Jose State improves to 7-12 overall and 2-4 in WAC play. LA Tech falls to 9-13 on the year and 0-6 in the conference.

The Spartans out-hit the Lady Techsters .339 to .031. SJSU also had more kills (48-19), assists (43-16), digs (53-40). LA Tech won the serving battle, 5-3. Both teams tallied two blocks on the match.

Savanah Leaf led all players with 14 kills. Kylie Miraldi added 11 kills on .474 hitting, while Alex Akana tallied 10 kills.

Bianca Bin finished with 13 assists and four digs, while Stephany Salas posted 10 digs for LA Tech.
