Hawai'i 3, Fresno State 0
Hawai'i remained undefeated in WAC play with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-18 sweep of Fresno State Saturday. With the win, UH improves to 14-1 overall and 4-0 in the WAC. Fresno State drops to 7-8 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
 
Hawai'i hit .486 on the match, compared to the .191 of the Bulldogs. UH also had more kills (43-35), assists (38-33), service aces (5-1), digs (23-16) and blocks (9-3).

Kanani Danielson had a team-high nine kills with Jane Croson posting eight kills and six digs. Mita Uiato added a match-high 31 assists.
 
Korrin Wild had a match-high 15 kills to lead the Bulldogs.


New Mexico State 3, Utah State 0
New Mexico State won its second WAC match of the week Saturday, sweeping the defending WAC Tournament Champions Utah State (25-13, 25-22, 25-18). With the win, NM State moves to 13-4 overall and 3-0 in WAC play. Utah State drops to 7-10 on the season and 2-2 in the conference.

NM State out-hit USU .238 to .121 and had more kills (43-38), assists (41-36), aces (5-2), digs (48-38) and blocks (8-6.5).

Jennah DeVries tallied a double-double with 36 assists and 13 digs, while adding three kills. Meredith Hays had 10 kills, while senior Kelsey Brennan posted nine kills, while hitting .533. Kelsi Phillips posted a match-high 14 digs.

Rachel Orr led Utah State with 14 kills and eight digs.


Idaho 3, Louisiana Tech 0
Idaho got its sixth sweep of the season with a 25-17, 25-19, 25-13 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday. With the win, the Vandals improve to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in WAC play. LA Tech drops to 8-10 on the year and 0-3 in the WAC.

Idaho hit .189 in the match and held Louisiana Tech (8-10, 0-3 WAC) to a .058 hitting percentage, the second lowest percentage for a Vandal opponent this season. The Vandals had 43 kills and 19 attack errors on 127 attempts and had 66 digs and 7.0 total blocks. Louisiana Tech had 27 kills and 20 errors on 121 attempts with 58 digs and 6.0 total blocks.

Allison Walker had her fourth consecutive double-double and seventh of the season with 10 kills and 11 digs, while Ashley Christman had career-highs with 11 kills and a .409 hitting percentage.Cassie Hamilton had 14 digs and Jenny Feicht had 36 assists and eight digs for the Vandals.

Marcella Braz paced the Lady Techsters with 10 kills. Ana Rodrigues had a match-high 18 digs.


San Jose State 3, Nevada 0
San Jose State picked up its first WAC win of the season Saturday, sweeping Nevada (25-21, 25-20, 25-21). With the win, the Spartans improve to 6-10 overall and 1-3 in the WAC. The Wolf Pack drop to 2-12 on the year and 0-3 in the conference.

San Jose State hit .336 for the match with just seven hitting errors in 116 attempts and 46 kills. Nevada hit .164. The Spartans also tallied more kills (46-38) and assists (40-36).

Kylie Miraldi hit .476 with 10 kills, while Savanah Leaf recorded a team-best 12 kills and Caitlin Andrade recorded 38 assists. Alex Akana and Taylor Japhet each added eight kills, while Krista Miller had five for the Spartans.

Nevada was led by Elissa Ji with 12 kills and Janelle Batista with 11.
