New Mexico State 3, Louisiana Tech 0
Jennah DeVries posted her 10th double-double of the season and Meredith Hays tallied her ninth as New Mexico State swept Louisiana Tech (25-16, 25-14, 25-22) for the second time this season Saturday in Ruston, La. With the win, the Aggies improve to 18-5 overall and 7-1 in WAC play. LA Tech drops to 9-16 on the year and 0-8 in the conference.

NM State out-hit the Lady Techsters .259 to .083. The Aggies also had more kills (48-25). assists (45-23), aces (4-3) and digs (60-39), but were out-blocked by LA Tech, 8-7.

DeVries led the way with 29 assists and 14 digs, while Hays was the only player from both teams with double-digit kills, as she posted 13 kills and 12 digs. Kelsi Phillips added 11 digs with six assists. Phillips needs just 54 more digs to enter the top 10 in the Aggie record books for digs in a career.

LA Tech was paced by Marcella Braz with seven kills and Nataliya Panova with 11 digs.


Fresno State 3, Nevada 1
The Bulldogs scored a 3-1 win over Nevada (18-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-16) Saturday for their  first season sweep of the Wolf Pack since 2003. With the win, Fresno State improves to 10-11 overall and 4-4 in the WAC. Nevada drops to 4-16 on the year and 1-7 in conference play.

The Bulldogs out-hit the Wolf Pack .213 to .105. Fresno State also had more kills (52-43), assists (52-40), aces (8-5) and digs (66-61). Nevada edged the Bulldogs in blocks, 12.5 to 12.

Fresno State wasled by Brianna Clarke with 15 kills. Korrin Wild added 14 kills and 10 digs for her fourth double-double of the season. Cecilia Agraz finished with 10 kills and eight digs. Barbara Alcantara posted her seventh double-double of the year with 46 assists and 16 digs.

Nevad awas led by Tessa Lea'ea with 11 kills and Kelly Chang with 16 digs. Tatiana Santiago posted a double-double of 31 assists and 16 digs, her sixth of the season.
