Hawai'i swept Idaho (25-23, 25-22, 25-23) in WAC volleyball action Sunday evening. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 21-1 overall and 9-0 in the WAC. The Vandals drop to 11-11 on the year and 5-4 in conference play.
Hawai'i out-hit Idaho .240 to .209. The Rainbow Wahine also had more kills (50-38), assists (48-35), aces (4-2) and digs (51-42). The Vandals won the blocking battle, 10-8.
Emily Hartong led the way for Hawai'i, recording 13 kills, six digs and three blocks. Kanani Danielson posted 11 kills with Brittany Hewitt and Jane Croson both adding nine kills.
Alicia Milo did the damage for the Vandals, posting a match-high 19 kills while also tallying eight digs.
