Hawai'i 3, San Jose State 0
Hawai'i swept San Jose State on Saturday, 25-21, 25-8, 25-19. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in the WAC. The Spartans drop to 6-12 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
 
Hawai'i hot .352 on the match, compared to the .084 of San Jose State. The Rainbow Wahine also had more kills (41-28), assists (34-27), digs (49-39) and blocks (7-1). The Spartans posted more service aces, 4-3.

Jane Croson had a match-high 15 kills to lead the 'Bows, and Kanani Danielson added nine kills and 14 digs. Brittany Hewitt recorded six blocks and Mita Uiato had 27 assists.
 
Savanah Leaf led the Spartans with 10 kills and seven digs.


New Mexico State 3, Fresno State 0
New Mexico State won its sixth straight match Saturday, defeating Fresno State (25-15, 25-23, 25-19) in the Save Mart Center. With the win, the Aggies improve to 16-4 overall and 5-0 in WAC. The Bulldogs drop to 8-9 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

NM State out-hit the Bulldogs, .330 to .072. The Aggies also had more kills (38-33), assists (35-30), digs (34-33) and blocks (13-4). Fresno State won the service aces battle, 7-5.
 
Meredith Hays led the way offensively with 15 kills. Kesley Brennan added eight kills on 12 attempts and finished the night with a .583 hitting percentage. Kelsi Phillips posted a match-high 13 digs.

Fresno State was led by Brianna Clarke and Cecilia Agraz with seven kills apiece.


Nevada 3, Louisiana Tech 0
Nevada snapped a five-match losing skid Saturday, sweeping Louisiana Tech 25-14, 25-19, 25-9 to earn its first WAC victory of the season. With the win, Nevada improved to 3-13 overall and 1-4 in WAC play. Tech drops to 9-12 on the year and 0-5 in the WAC.

Nevada hit .494 on the match, compared to the .049 of LA Tech. The Pack also had more kills (47-25), assists (45-25), aces (4-2), digs (33-19) and blocks (10-1).

Erin Garvey led Nevada with 11 kills and hit .786 in the match. Tatiana Santiago finished with a match-high 39 assists.  Elissa Ji and Chang both reached double figures in digs with 11 and 10, respectively.

Marcella Braz topped the Lady Techsters with 12 kills and setter Bianca Bin had 23 assists.
