New Mexico State 3, Fresno State 0
New Mexico State ended a two-match losing streak by defeating Fresno State in straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 25-15) Thursday night at the Pan American Center. With the win, NM State goes to 19-7 overall and 8-3 in WAC play.  Fresno State falls to 11-13 on the year and 5-6 in league play.

The Aggies out-hit Fresno State .240 to .048, while each team tallied eight blocks each.

Kelsey Brennan finished with a team-high 12 kills and Meredith Hays added nine kills. Jennah DeVries finished the match with her team-high 12th double-double, amassing 36 assists and 10 digs.

Fresno State was led by Korrin Wild with 11 kills and Christina Lee with 12 digs.


Nevada 3, Louisiana Tech 0
Nevada swept Louisiana Tech 25-13, 29-27, 25-20 in a WAC road match Thursday night.  With the victory, the Wolf Pack improve to 5-18 overall and 2-9 in WAC play.  The Lady Techsters fall to 9-19 on the year and 0-11 in conference play.

Nevada hit .365 in the match and LA Tech .194.  The Pack totaled six blocks compared to two for the Lady Techsters.

Tessa Lea’ea led the Pack with 13 kills, while Janelle Batista and Bonnie Paul totaled 10 kills apiece. Tatiana Santiago finished with a match-high 44 assists and libero Kelly Chang had 15 digs.

Bridget Benditz led the Lady Techsters with 12 kills on the night. Bianca Bin had 26 assists and Stephany Salas 18 digs.


Utah Valley 3, Utah State 0
Shay Sorensen recorded her first-ever double-double with 10 kills and a career-high 12 digs in Utah State's three-set loss at Utah Valley (25-20, 25-21, 25-20) Thursday. USU falls to 11-14 on the season with the loss.

The Aggies hit .173 on the match, compared to the .252 of Utah Valley. UVU also had three more digs (50-47), 1.5 more team blocks (4.5-3.0) and one more service ace (4-3) in the match, while USU had three fewer service errors (4-1).

Josselyn White also had 10 kills, while Liz McArthur finished the match with nine kills and nine digs.
