Fresno State 81, Utah State 63
The Bulldogs overcame a seven-point halftime deficit en route to an 81-63 win over the Aggies at the Save Mart Center Saturday. With the win, Fresno State improves to 17-7 on the year and 8-2 in WAC play. Utah State drops to 13-11 overall and 7-4 in the WAC.

The Bulldogs shot 51 percent from the field, 35 percent from three-point range and 64 percent from the free throw line on the game. Utah State connected on 47 percent from the field, 17 percent from beyond the arc and 58 percent from the charity stripe. Fresno State won the rebounding battle, 35-30.

Fresno State was led by Taja Edwards and Rosie Moult with 19 points apiece. Hayley Munro added 14 points and Jaleesa Ross finished with 13. Edwards also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Ashlee Brown led the Aggies with 22 points, while Devyn Christensen added 18 points, six steals and five assists.


Idaho 61, Boise State 46
After leading at halftime, the Broncos were outscored 41-22 in the second half and fell 61-46 to instate rival Idaho Saturday at Taco Bell Arena. With the win, the Vandals improve to 13-10 overall and 6-5 in the WAC. Boise State falls to 11-14 on the year and 2-9 in WAC play.

The Vandals shot 35 percent from the field, 20 percent from three-point range and 92 percent from the free throw line. The Broncos shot 27 percent from the field, 22 percent from beyond the arc and 54 percent from the free throw line on the game. Boise State edged Idaho on the boards, 40-38.

Derisa Taleni led Idaho with 17 points, while Yinka Olorunnife added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Janie Bos paced Boise State with 10 points.


Nevada 69, Hawai'i 42
Nevada defeated Hawai'i Saturday 69-42 in front of 1,086 fans at Lawlor Events Center. With the win, Nevada improves to 17-7 overall and 6-5 in the WAC, while Hawai'i drops to 8-16 on the season and 2-9 in WAC play.

The Wolf Pack shot 36 percent from the field, 25 percent form three-point range and 77 percent from the free throw line on the game. Hawai'i connected on just 23 percent from the field, 21 percent from downtown and 61 percent from the charity stripe on the game. The Pack out-rebounded the Rainbow Wahine 50-42 and tied for a season-high with eight blocks on the game.

Tahnee Robinson led all scorers with 24 points with eight rebounds. Kayla Williams collected her sixth double-double of the year with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Shavon Moore scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Hawai'i was led by Megan Tinnin with 11 points.


Louisiana Tech 88, New Mexico State 79
Adrienne Johnson and Tarkeisha Wysinger-Mackey each recorded double-doubles and Louisiana Tech used a big second half to down New Mexico State 88-79 Saturday night before 1,176 fans at the Pan American Center.

With the victory, Tech extended its winnings streak to 11 games and improves to 18-5 on the year and a perfect 10-0 in WAC play. New Mexico State drops to 10-13 on the season and 4-5 in the WAC.

For the game, Louisiana Tech shot 43 percent from the field, 46 percent from three-point range and 84 percent from the free throw line. NM State shot 40 percent from the field, 40 percent from downtown and 81 percent from the free throw line. The Aggies out-rebounded Tech 44-38.

Johnson recorded her 11th double-double of the year with 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Wysinger-Mackey scored a season-high 23 points and added 10 rebounds.

Madison Spence scored a game-high 29 points. while Jasmine Lowe scored 18 points, Danisha Corbett 12 points and Tabytha Wampler 11 points for the Aggies.
