Louisiana Tech 78, Utah State 70
Adrienne Johnson tallied 25 points and 16 rebounds as the Lady Techsters picked up a 78-70 win over Utah State at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan Saturday. With the win, LA Tech improves to 21-5 overall and 13-0 in WAC play. The Aggies drop to 15-12 on the year and 9-5 in conference play. With three games remaining, the Techsters need just one more win to clinch the WAC regular-season title.

The Lady Techsters shot 43 percent from the field, 29 percent from three-point range and 73 percent from the free throw line on the game. Utah State connected on 37 percent from the field, 32 percent from beyond the arc and 69 percent from the charity stripe. LA Tech won the rebounding battle, 50-40.

In addition to Johnson, Tarkeisha Wysinger-Mackey finished with 18 points, Martina Holloway had 11 and Whitney Jones added 10 for LA Tech.

Utah State was led by Ashlee Brown's double-double of 16 points and 12 boards. Banna Diop also tallied a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.


New Mexico State 63, Nevada 59
New Mexico State rallied in the second half for a 63-59 victory over Nevada at Lawlor Events Center Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Aggies improve to 12-16 overall and 6-8 in the WAC. After the loss, Nevada drops to 19-8 overall and 8-6 in WAC play.

NM State shot 45 percent from the field, 36 percent from three-point range and 59 percent from the free throw line on the game. Nevada shot just 26 percent from the field, 13 percent from downtown and 68 percent from the charity stripe. The Wolf Pack led on the glass, 48-35.

Jasmine Lowe led the Aggies with a season-high 19 points. Danisha Corbett finished with 11 points, while Tabytha Wampler added 10.

Tahnee Robinson led Nevada with a game-high 24 points.


Boise State 83, San Jose State 69
Boise State snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 83-69 victory at San Jose State Saturday night. With the win, the Broncos improve to 12-16 overall and 3-11 in WAC play. The Spartans drop to 2-25 overall and 2-12 in the WAC.

Boise State shot 51 percent from the field, a season-high 46 percent from three-point range and 78 percent from the free throw line on the game.
San Jose State shot 51 percent from the field, 46 percent from beyond the arc and 82 percent  from the foul line. The Broncos dominated the boards, 32-22.

Nicole Brady scored a team-high 12 points, followed by Kati Isham and Cinnamon Lister with 11 each.

Sara Plavljanin led San Jose State with 24 points and six rebounds, followed by Brittany Johnson with 21 points and four boards.
