Hawai`i 69, Boise State 53
Hawai`i snapped its nine-game losing streak and earned its first conference win with a 69-53 victory over Boise State Wednesday night. With the win, the Rainbow Wahine improve to 7-15 overall and 1-8 in WAC play. Boise State drops to 11-11 on the year and 2-6 in the WAC.

Hawai`i shot 40 percent from the field on the game, while holding the Broncos to 25 percent shooting for the game. The Rainbow Wahine also out-rebounded Boise State 45-33.

Keisha Kanekoa led Hawai`i with a game-high 17 points, while Kamilah Jackson was strong on the boards with a game-high 10 rebounds in front of a crowd of 1,376.
 
Boise State was led by Heather Pilcher’s 11 points and Kati Isham added eight points.


Idaho 62, San Jose State 41
The Vandals avenged an earlier loss to the Spartans Wednesday, defeating San Jose State 62-41. With the win, Idaho improves to 12-8 on the season and 5-3 in WAC play. The Spartans fall to 2-19 overall and 2-6 in the WAC.

Idaho shot 45 percent from the field and held San Jose State to 28 percent shooting. The Vandals also dominated the glass, 41-28.

Rachele Kloke led the Vandals with 11 points, while Emily Doran and Yinka Olorunnife each finished with eight points and eight rebounds.

Olorunnife's eight rebounds give her 538 career rebounds in WAC games, breaking the all-time record of 535 set by Louisiana Tech's Shanavia Dowdell last season.

San Jose State was paced by Brittany Johnson with 12 points and nine rebounds.
