Utah State 79, Nevada 73
The Aggies won their third straight game and first WAC road game Thursday, defeating the host Wolf Pack 79-73. With the win, Utah State improves to 11-10 overall and 5-3 in conference play. Nevada drops to 14-7 on the year and 3-5 in the WAC.
Utah State shot 51 percent from the field, 29 percent from three-point range and 69 percent from the free throw line on the game. Nevada connected on 41 percent from the field, 30 percent from beyond the arc and 75 percent from the charity stripe on the game. The Aggies won the rebounding battle, 40-35.
Utah State was led by Devyn Christensen's first career double-double of 19 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. She also dished out six assists. Alice Coddington added 12 points, while Jennifer Schlott scored 11.
Tahnee Robinson paced the Wolf Pack with 22 points, including five three-pointers, while Kayla Williams added 21 points.
