LA Tech Wins 10th Straight, Beats NM State 85-63

The Lady Techsters won their 10th-straight game Monday night, defeating New Mexico State 85-63 to remain undefeated in WAC play. With the win, LA Tech improves to 17-5 on the season and 9-0 in conference play. The Aggies fall to 10-12 overall and 4-4 in the WAC.

Louisiana Tech shot 48 percent from the field, 54 percent from three-point range and 64 percent from the free throw line on the game. NM State connected on 33 percent from the field, 13 percent from downtown and 81 percent from the charity stripe on the game. LA Tech also won the rebounding battle, 46-38.

Adrienne Johnson and Jasmine Bendolph scored 17 points each to lead the Lady Techsters. Whitney Jones added 16 points and Trakeisha Wysinger-Mackey finished with 14. Johnson also pulled down 13 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season.

Jasmine Lowe led a group of four Aggies in double-digit scoring, finishing with 16 points. Madison Spence added 14 points, while Tabytha Wampler and Jasmine Rutledge added 10 apiece.
