Nevada Upsets LA Tech, 71-66

Nevada reached 20 wins in a season for the first time in school history Monday night when it snapped WAC leader Louisiana Tech's 14-game win streak with a 71-66 victory. With the win, Nevada improves to 20-8 overall and 9-6 in the WAC. The Lady Techsters drop to 21-6 on the year and 13-1 in WAC play.

Nevada shot 46 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range and 72 percent from the free throw line. LA Tech connected on 44 percent from the field, 53 percent from downtown and 56 percent from the charity stripe. The Pack  dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Lady Techsters 46-22.

Nevada was led by senior Tahnee Robinson whose 32 points was just one shy from her career high and paced all scorers in the game. She also added nine boards. Kayla Williams tallied her 12th career double-double, seventh this year, with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Kate Kevorken added 12 points, while Nicole Williams scored 10.

Tarkeisha Wysinger-Mackey led Tech with 24 points and a career-high eight steals, while Jasmine Bendolph recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 13 assists.
